Hi, my name is Jon Koehmstedt. When I started a business at the age of 18, I decided to take a less traditional route and not go to college right after high school. My business experiences have taught me hard work, discipline, and how to dream big. Last year, I decided to close my business and go to school to earn my degree. I’m currently studying computer science and finance, and I’m passionate about entrepreneurship. At school I’m the president of the Youth Christian Association, the Society of Business and Entrepreneurship, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. When I’m not studying for classes or planning meeting for these organizations, I like to work on my programming skills using sites like Codecademy, Coursera, Lynda, Treehouse and more. My mission is to attend Stanford University and work in Silicon Valley for a few years.
