Times After the 2012 Elections

Since the Presidential elections are over, most people will (assumingly) lose interest in the government. On the Manassas Campus, we had a lot of banners encouraging the students to cast their vote and have their voice be heard. I find it amusing to see how many people tune in to the news just to hear about the Presidential elections and then forget about everything else until another election arises or a scandal appears.

Now I’m not saying there aren’t people who actually like to listen about the Government and enjoy the debating. I really do appreciate those who stay well in tune with what is going on and keep others informed as well.

But I found this picture in the pool of pictures surfacing the internet. I found this pretty amusing since I know there are a lot of people who rather stay out of politics but it also shows how many people are uninformed.

But I would like to hear what you guys think now that it’s well past the elections. Have a great weekend!
