Hurray! A new semester has started and classes are back in session. (I know, I’m a nerd.) As an ELI student I take most of my classes online, which means I only have to head to a campus to take exams. I usually go late in the day, or on Saturday morning, which means the campus is relatively quiet. Well, this week I found out that on Tuesday and Thursday from 12:30 to 3:15, the Woodbridge campus is hopping!
As you can probably guess, I am taking a class on campus this semester. Being at the Woodbridge campus in the middle of the day is great. It was really fun to see all the students milling around the halls and outside the doors, socializing, waiting for their rides, or just hanging out. Sometimes I forget that I am part of a bigger organization, but taking a class on campus reminds me that there is more to school than just studying. Hopefully, I can slow down a little and take advantage of some of the activities that are planned around campus this semester. Maybe I’ll see you there!
